Aurora Nario – native of Havana, Cuba, died on September 30th, 2020.

Beloved wife of the late Jose Miguel Nario, devoted mother of Jorge, Graciela, Miguel and Jose. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Aurora came to the United States in February of 1969 through Miami and three days later she arrived in New York.

Aurora was an excellent seamstress and made clothing for her family including dresses and baptism clothes. She was an animal lover. Aurora loved old movies especially western, Bette Davis movies, and the show Columbo. She loved crafts and gardening, especially her beautiful lilies and roses. Aurora was an incredible cook, education was important to her and stressed that among her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Aurora came to the united states so her children could enjoy a great life though she missed her family in Cuba greatly.

she attended school here and learned English.
