Casimiro “Giusto” Mingozzi, a resident of East Elmhurst for over 50 years, died on October 29, 2012 following a long illness. Born in Italy, Giusto immigrated in the 50’s and became a proud citizen of the US. He was a talented tool and dye machinist and worked for Bulova Corp for over 20 years until his retirement. Known as an avid sportsman, Giusto excelled in bowling and golf and was particularly skilled on the dance floor. Giusto was married to, Antionia (Glavich) for over 59 years. He was a loving husband, brother-in-law and uncle. Giusto is survived by his wife, Etta; his sister-in-law Marisa Hong and her daughters and their spouses; his sister and brother-in-law Egle and John T. McEvoy and their children and their spouses ; his sister and brother-in law, Loredana and Pino Ponte and their son and his wife; his cousins and 13 great nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima, Jackson Heights NY on Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 9:45am.
