Catherine (Cathy) Chryssides passed away on Thursday, June 1 at the age of 79. She was born in New York on November 2, 1943 and was a Queens county resident for most of her life. She was predeceased by her husband, Perry Chryssides, her siblings, Cookie and John Podios, her niece, Shirley Hartofilis and her parents, James and Shirlene Podios. She is survived by her sons, James and Anthony (Mary) Chryssides and grandchildren, Loulou, Angela, Peter and Anthony Chryssides who were her pride and joy.
Cathy is also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews both here and abroad. Cathy loved unconditionally and tirelessly and was loved by all who were lucky to know her. She will be sorely missed.
