Frank, I dusted off the boiler this morning, then I decided to polish it. This old and neglected house is still standing only because you put it back together with such care and skill. I liked you every bit as much as I trusted and admired you. My heart goes out to the family you loved so much. As for the rest of us, we're so lucky to have shared some of your time. Best, Jeanne

Danny first met Frank, one of the "dog people" way back when we moved back to Astoria. They became fast friends....lucky for me cause I did too. He was the very best of the bestest. He loved life to the max. Always there when you needed him. Always had the answers to everything. Always ready for a good laugh. We will miss him always and forever.....until we meet again. My good friend....

I was introduced to Frank several years ago by his friend Joan since she knew I needed some work done on my house. What a blessing! Frank was trustworthy, honest, extremely professional , meticulous, funny and just wonderful to deal with. Every time I look around my house I will remember him. He will be sorely missed by many of us who used to place distress calls. You could always count on him. At least now he will rest in peace.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I first met Frank when I moved back to Astoria in 1995 - as I would walk my dog Teddy in the Park every day and he walked Cassidy. We didn't get to know each other better until my sister Denise and brother-in-law Dan became good friends with him and he became our plumber. To say his work was excellent is an understatement. Even more so, he was someone you trusted. He was so happy when he married Judy, who I never met but heard so much about. He was so in love with her and her son. This was all so sudden and sad. But I know how life turns on a dime and at least he is not sick anymore and I see him walking with Cassidy and giving her the little treats from his pocket. Walk with God my friend, the loss of your presence will be felt by us all.

...Every moment - I touch things Frank touched. Light switches, bathroom drains, dishwashers, - I was just watering outside with the new spigots Frank instsalled last year-he "loved" his work and did it SO well! Frank was truely devoted to his occupation and shared with the people he saw every day. 20 years ago he was called in on an emergency, and became part of our daily routine, renovatng a 1918 house. (I'm sure we paid for many of his trips to Aspen, but it was well worth it. We heard in detail about all his ski runs.) I remember him telling about the girl he met on his morrning dog walks- turns out she was something special- as was he. Last time we met was on yet another emergency call this February for a 92 year old spinster just out of the hospital with no heat. Frank, though sick showed up- the boiler is still running. Tolerant, compassionate, on his knees with a smile in a 100 year old row house basement or a masion....Frank was the best.
