There are so many memories over these past thirty years. These past few days I have been seeing those blue eyes and that boyish, sometimes impish grin, smiling back at me. We shared much together - our families, our work, our frustrations, but mostly a mutual admiration and respect for each other. I appreciate Joe's always "showing up" for me. He would appear beside me when I least expected, even when it took great effort for him to do so. I send much love to the family and appreciation and thanks to my friend, Joey! Rest easy, dear friend! Andrea Cisco

As the snow gently falls on the ground let each snowflake remind us of Joe's lifetime and memories we have of him. We are thankful for having known him and sharing a time in our lives with a wonderful guy. Although our dear Joe had an unsuccessful battle with his health recently, we must also remember his quality of life, and why it was not deserving of him to suffer such tragic and unresolved circumstances as of late. Joseph was a successful professional who was blessed to have Espa in his life. Together they were blessed with three wonderful, unique and amazing daughters. Each daughter is graced with her loving personality because of the love that Joe and Espa instilled in them. Joe was truly blessed to have his three angels with him always; whether in Pennsylvania, Astoria or Cincinnati, Joe was never alone for a moment. Perhaps it was Katie or Jane or Emily or all three together, Joe had the true blessings every good father deserves, to have his children around him always. As life brings changes to us all, it is important to remember always, that we have to cherish the good memories we have from our past. At the same time, we must be grateful for what we have today and everyday, and continue to live life and create new memories into the future. I am sure that each one of us will somehow hold a part of Joe in our hearts as we remember a memory or two we shared with him. Also let us remember that Joe's life was fulfilled with success, family, friends and home. The fact that the mother of his children and his three angels were around him until his last breathe, is a testament to Joe's life. Katie, Jane, and sweet Emily, your Dad was always so proud of you. Keep his legacy alive and continue to have him be proud of you in Heaven as you mold your own lives. Espa, you are a genuinely special lady. You are blessed to have a husband like Harry in your life to comfort your and give you companionship. Cherish life's gift today, as it will be but a dream tomorrow.

Dear Family, Please accept my deepest sympathies for Joe's passing. I was Joe's travel agent. I did several tickets for him to and from Cleveland and I knew he was ill. I would ask how he was and he ALWAYS said he was good. I knew that wasn't true so all I could do was pray for him and I did. He was the nicest man to me. I know he was SO proud and LOVED you all SO much. Please take care and know there are MANY people out there who thought the WORLD of Joe Gibbons and I am one of them. It is especially hard during the holidays which I am all too familiar with. I will miss you a LOT Joe. RIP. God Bless
