William “Bill” Anthony Pacheco went home to Jesus on November 27, 2019 at age 77.
Bill was born to Silva Pacheco and Annette Chester on August 6, 1942. His parents immigrated to New York City from Europe (Italy and Portugal). He was the second of six children and grew up in Long Island City, NY.
Bill met his wife Kathleen “Kathy” Sexton when they were young teenagers and they married in 1963. They had two children Doreen and Frank and raised their family in Astoria, NY. In addition to being a loving husband and dad he was a proud papa to five grandsons.

We did not have a chance to know William. But we do know his daughter Doreen. We know that he brought her up with fine qualities: to work hard to be honest and loyal, to be kind to others, to never give up. That does not happen unless a parent sets a good example. We can see by his warm, friendly smile that he must have imparted that trait to Doreen as well. We hold Doreen and the rest of his loved ones close in our hearts at this sad time. We hope you will be comforted by happy memories. So long as you tell storiesi of William’s good life, he is with you and in the world still.
