Janet, I hope you remember me: Kathy Lapolla, from Mater Christi. A bunch of us went to the Senior Prom together, sitting at same table, going out afterwards, then a picnic upstate the following day. I am so sorry to learn of your terrible loss, and my heart aches for you and your son. I remember Jimmy as such a friendly, out-going, genuine guy -- with the type of personality that could light up a room. May your wonderful, irreplaceable memories bring you comfort, and may the love of your family and friends bring you peace. Once again, Janet, from one Mater Christi girl to another, I am so very, very sorry. With Love, Kathy

Janet, Matt and family: We upstate family respectfully request the honor of a ceremony with bonfire and sage and talking stick for Jimmy when the time is right for you. There are loved ones all around who can't make it to Queens. We want to make a beautiful and loving circle for Jim and for all of us. We are all with you in heart and spirit always. So much love always, Joanne extended family and friends.

I'll never forget Jim's laugh... or his sense of humor. He was a dear friend and always will be part of my life. Although I have a broken heart, I am forever grateful for knowing the Marsanico and Sgritto families.
