Our parents give us life; our grandparents give us a sense of who we are and where we come from... my γιαγιά has done that and so much more. My Γιαγιά was the strongest, most courageous woman I knew. She was a fighter, a comforter & a mentor. She wore many hats; a mother, a grandmother & my best friend. She was the glue in the family that kept us all together, the light that outshone even in the darkest of places, the women who instilled values in us that we will carry on in her memory. I’ve never doubted my faith but she was the living proof that there truly is a heaven for she was an angel who walked among us. Now she is at peace, flying high with our other loved ones & watching over us all. I have been blessed to be able to share laughs, smiles, tears, good times & bad times for over 23 years with my γιαγιά & although she is gone from this world, she will never be forgotten. She will always be in our hearts, in our thoughts & be a part of who we are. Rest In Peace Γιαγιά. We love & miss you! In loving memory of Sophia Les 11/8/19
