As we all will miss Luke terribly, we know that heaven is a better place with him there.. I got to know Luke over the many years we worked together at Citifield. He was a special man with a giving heart . He truly left his mark on the fans and his fellow workers. RIP Luke, Love you and miss you already. Steve

Luke was my mom Susan Gasparre's first cousin. His father and my grandfather Vito were brothers. All of us grew up in Astoria. Me and my cousin Johnny used to see him at Shea in the 70s during summer day games and he would move us down to box seats. Another family hero - RIP.

I remember him well. My deepest sympathies to you and the families. I will try to make it there later today.

Dear Gasparre Famiglia ~ We are two of the many, many Mets fans who knew Luke from the stadiums. Every visit with him was beyond a pleasure. He would light up the whole area with his smile, regardless of how the Mets did. We so enjoyed hearing his stories, especially ones which included his beloved wife. We wish you all beautiful memories of this beautiful soul, may he Rest In Peace - with that twinkle in his eyes. Our very best, the Rackow Family, Seats in the 300’s
